Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to AgentMeter, which consists of an iPhone app and an Apple Watch app (including its watch complication) distributed through the App Store, and a Mac companion app distributed separately. By using AgentMeter, you agree to this policy.

Summary

AgentMeter shows your Claude Code subscription quota on your Apple Watch and iPhone. It has no developer server. The Mac companion collects data locally on your Mac, and the result is synced only through your own private iCloud. We never receive your data.

Information We Collect

The developer does not collect, receive, or upload your personal information.

  • No accounts, contact details, or identity data are collected by the developer.
  • No device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or location data are collected.
  • No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs are used.
  • The Mac companion reads your existing Claude Code credential from the macOS Keychain on your own Mac to query your Claude Code usage. This credential is used locally and is never uploaded to the developer or to any third party other than the Claude Code service it already belongs to.
  • The only content AgentMeter handles is a quota snapshot: remaining percent and reset time for the 5-hour rolling window and the weekly window, plus a freshness/stale indicator. This snapshot is stored in your own private iCloud database, not on any developer server.

How Data Flows

AgentMeter is built so that your sensitive credential never leaves your Mac and your data never reaches the developer:

1 · Collect on the Mac

The Mac companion reads your local Claude Code credential and queries your usage, entirely on your machine.

2 · Sync via your iCloud

The cleaned quota snapshot is written to your private iCloud (CloudKit) database under your own Apple ID.

3 · Read on watch & iPhone

The Apple Watch and iPhone apps read that snapshot from your iCloud. They never connect to Anthropic directly.

iCloud Sync

Quota snapshots are stored in the private database of your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. This data is governed by your Apple ID and Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy. The developer has no access to your iCloud private database and cannot read the synced data.

What We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect or store your Claude Code credential or access token anywhere outside your own Mac Keychain.
  • We do not collect your prompts, code, conversations, or any Claude Code content — only aggregate quota numbers.
  • We do not operate a developer backend, and we do not sell, share, or disclose your data to third parties.
  • We do not use ads, analytics, tracking, profiling, or cross-app/cross-site tracking.

Storage & Security

Your Claude Code credential stays in the macOS Keychain on your Mac. The quota snapshot lives in your private iCloud database and in local app storage on your devices. Network requests to Claude Code happen only from the Mac companion, only over HTTPS, and only using the credential that already exists on your Mac.

Third-Party Services

AgentMeter relies on two third parties, both under your own account: Apple iCloud (CloudKit) for syncing your snapshot, and the Claude Code usage service operated by Anthropic, which the Mac companion queries using your own existing credential. Their handling of your data is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

Your Rights

You stay in control of your data. You can revoke the Mac companion's access to your Claude Code credential, sign out of iCloud, or delete the app at any time. Deleting the synced data from your iCloud removes it everywhere AgentMeter reads it.

Children's Privacy

AgentMeter is a developer utility and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
